Hollywood Elementary 5th Grade Spraydown

As St. Mary's County reached the end of the school year, HVFD was requested to conduct a spray-down of the 5th grade class at Hollywood Elementary School. HVFD sent a crew on June 15 and 16, to HES to oblige the request. It was great to see the smiling faces of the students and staff as they "let off some steam." At approximately 2048 hours Saturday, 5 June 2021, units from Station 2 that were filling in as a result of their annual banquet and units from Station 5 responded to area of 38233 Chaptico Road for a MVA involving a Commercial Vehicle. At approximately 2240 hours 24 May 2021, Engine 7 was dispatched Mutual Aid to Calvert County, in the 13800 block of HG Truman Road for the Building Fire. Engine 73 and Chief 7 (Brady) responded with 7 Volunteers shortly after dispatch. First arriving units from Solomons found a one story strip mall with fire showing through the roof. Hollywood VFD Responds To MVA With Reported One Trapped

Just prior to 1500 hours Monday, 24 May 2021, Station 7 was dispatched to the 42900 block of St. John's Road for a reported motor vehicle collision, head on, with one trapped. Rescue Squad 7 and Engine 73 responded with 11 Volunteers. Rescue Squad 7 arrived on location to find a two vehicle, head on collision with everyone out.
