It is time to move our clocks forward for Daylight Saving Time on Sunday, March 8.
As you walk through your home to reset your clocks, be sure to test each smoke alarm using the test button. If your smoke alarms use standard batteries, now is the perfect time to change those batteries. Choosing this day is an easy way to remember to do it each year. Annual Spring Dinner- March 7, 2026

The Annual Spring Dinner, hosted by the Ladies Auxiliary, is set to feature a menu that includes stuffed ham, fried oysters, chicken salad, and other popular favorites. Attendees are invited to visit the Bake Sale Table for a selection of desserts. Stuffed ham and chicken salad will also be available for purchase by the pound while supplies last. Safety Recall: Kids Bike Helmets (Carnival Prizes)

We have been notified that the Semfri children’s bicycle helmets we gave away during the Family Carnival in September have been recalled due to a safety issue.
If your child received one of these helmets, please return it to us and we will replace it with a new helmet. New helmets will be available at the firehouse on Tuesday February 10.

At 12:02 Rescue Squads 7 and 3 were alerted to the intersection of Three Notch Rd and Airport View Dr. for the motor vehicle collision with entrapment, involving a snow plow.
Chief 7A arrived on scene to find a rear-end-style collision involving a tractor that was plowing snow.

Leonardtown House Fire

Jan. 26 at 20:40hrs, units from Leonardtown, Hollywood and surrounding areas were alerted to the 23900 block of McIntosh Rd for the house fire.
Engine Tanker 74 responded with 6 personnel.
Chief 7B arrived on the scene to find a 1 story single family with smoke showing from the attic.
