Hollywood VFD Receives a Special Gift

On Tuesday, 24 November 2020, the Hollywood Volunteers were pleasantly surprised when Chuck Latham, past member and son of our current Ladies Auxiliary President Cyndi Wood presented us a special gift. He used “out of service” fire hose from the department and created this beautiful American Flag to be displayed proudly in our station. It is with a heavy heart that the Hollywood VFD announce the passing of Charter Member, William Robert "Bill" Schmalgemeyer. Hollywood Volunteers Respond with Truck to Commercial Building Fire in Lexington Park

At approximately 1830 hours on Wednesday 18 November 2020, Truck 7 was dispatched to assist on the Structure Fire in the 21800 block of Three Notch Road in Lexington Park. Truck 7 responded on the incident with 7 Volunteers. First arriving units found a two story multiple occupancy building with smoke showing. Hollywood VFD Responds to Serious Crash in the First Due

At approximately 1330 hours on Tuesday, 17 November 2020, Station 7 was dispatched to the 27200 block of North Sandgates Road for a Serious Motor Vehicle Accident. Rescue Squad 7, Engine 72, and Chief 7 (Brady) responded with 9 Volunteers on the incident. RING recalls 350,000 Video Doorbell Cameras

Amazon-subsidiary Ring is recalling hundreds of thousands of video doorbells after receiving reports of them catching fire.
