New Engine Coming In The Near Future To Hollywood VFD

The Membership, and apparatus committee is proud to announce that we have received the final drawings for our new Engine. This unit will be a 2024 pierce arrow XT, powered by a Cummins X12 525 horsepower motor. This unit is equipped with a Hale 1500 gpm fire pump and will carry 750 gallons of water, 30 gallons of foam, various attack lines and other equipment. This unit will be designated as Engine ... Hollywood VFD Responds To Work Truck On Fire In First Due
April 24
At approximately 1345 hours Wednesday 24 April 2024, Station 7 was dispatched to the 25500 block of Vista Road for the Truck Fire. Engine 72 and Tanker 74 responded at dispatch with 10 Volunteers on the run. Units arrived on the scene to find a small box truck on fire. Hollywood VFD Responds To Valley Lee For 2nd Fire In Less Than 24 Hours
April 24
At approximately 0400 hours Wednesday morning 24 April 2024, Rescue Squad 7 and Truck 7 were dispatched to the 17500 block of Whitestone Drive in Piney Point for a House Fire. Rescue Squad 7, Truck 7, and Chief 7A (Rector) responded on the Box with 10 Volunteers.
