At approximately 1850 hours Sunday, 16 January 2023, Station 7 was dispatched to the 25700 block of Three Notch Road for a vehicle into a building. Rescue Squad 7, Engine 72, Chief 7 (Rogers) and Chief 7B (Tatum) responded with 12 Volunteers shortly after dispatch. The Units from Hollywood arrived to find a 1 story strip center with damage to two businesses from a car collision. The crews checked for injuries then started to assess the structure. Crews evaluated all three businesses, securing utilities as needed, and determining the occupancy status. After a full assessment, crews turned the scene over to the Sheriff's Office and the owner. One patient was evaluated by EMS and refused transport. Chief 7B (Tatum) held the Hollywood Command and the Units returned to quarters at 1935 hours.
