Hollywood VFD Responds to Serious Crash in the First Due

At approximately 1330 hours on Tuesday, 17 November 2020, Station 7 was dispatched to the 27200 block of North Sandgates Road for a Serious Motor Vehicle Accident. Rescue Squad 7, Engine 72, and Chief 7 (Brady) responded with 9 Volunteers on the incident. Safety Officer 7B (Tenaglia) was first to arrive finding a single vehicle that was overturned and down a ravine approximately 70 feet. Rescue Squad 7 (Hollywood VFD) and 2 (Mechanicsville VFD) arrived on location and accessed the patient who was pronounced deceased. Command scaled the assignment back and held Rescue Squad 7 only. The Squad crew set up a rescue pulley system and removed the occupant after the completion of the St. Mary's Sheriff's Office investigation. Rescue Squad 7 cleared the scene and returned to service at 1600 hours. Chief 7 (Brady) held the Sandgates Command.
