- It's that time of year again, Carnival Season has begun at the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department. Come out and have some fun with the family. Play games, ride some rides, and eat some great food. Pierce to Display Truck 7 at Baltimore Firehouse EXPO

- For the second year in a row HVFD had one of our units on display at the Firehouse Expo in Baltimore. Last year Engine 72 was featured in the Pierce booth, but this year Truck 7 had the honor of being on display. As many of you know, Hollywood VFD purchased two new units from Pierce this year one being a Pumper and the other a Tractor Drawn Aerial. This was a first for us to purchase two units ... One Trapped in Laurel Grove

- At 0913 hours Station 2, Station 7, EMS Station 29, EMS Station 79, and the medic unit were dispatched to Three Notch Rd in the area of Laurel Grove Park for a Motor Vehicle Accident with one trapped. Rescue Squad 7 responded shortly after dispatch and arrrived on the scene to find 2 vehicles with one overturned, and a subject trapped. Lt. Trooper 7 finds Fire in the First Due Area
JULY 18
- At approximately 0520 hours, MSP Aviation Trooper 7 was returning from PG Hospital when they came across a fire just north of the Firehouse. At 0520 hours Station 7, Station 1, Station 9, Station 3, and EMS Station 79 were dispatched to the area north of the Firehouse for a possible Barn Fire. Steerhorn Neck Rd at Allies Wy Single Vehicle Accident
JULY 17
- At 1544 hours, Station 7, EMS Station 79, and EMS Station 19 were dispatched to Steerhorn Neck Rd in the area of Greenwell State Park for a Motor Vehicle. Rescue Squad 7 and Engine 73 responded on the incident with 8 volunteers. Rescue Squad 7 was first to arrive finding a single vehicle off the roadway with one occupant trapped in the vehicle. HVFD 2nd Annual Independence Day Celebration a Huge Success
JULY 03
- This year the 2nd Annual Independence Day Celebration was another Huge Success. The day started off with the Car, Truck, and Bike show. We had 155 entries this year with everything from Chopper Motorcycles to Antique Fire Trucks. Over 40 trophies were given out for best in show awards. - Fire #1 At 0134 hours Station 22, Station 2, Charles Station 2, Charles Station 5, Truck 7, Water Supply 5, EMS Station 29 and Charles EMS 2 were dispatched to 40614 Waterview Dr in Golden Beach for the reported House Fire.
