By Firefighter Ernest Rogers
January 19, 2007

At 1719 hours Company 7, 1, and EMS Station 79 were alerted to 24251 Half Pone Point Road in Hollywood for the Chimney Fire. Engine 73 (Capt. Brady) responded with 5 volunteers as Truck 7 (Lt. Bean) was right behind them. Chief 7A (Pilkerton Sr.) arrived on location at 1729 with a 2 story home fire coming from the chimney and established the Hollywood Command. Engine 73 arrived moments later and advanced a 1 3/4 line to the door and entered the home and investigated. Truck 7 arrived moments later and "sticked" the roof. Operations advised Command that the box could be held with Company 7 units and Ambulance 796 already on the scene. After chaining the chimney and cleaning it out units returned to service. At 1834 hours all Company 7 units were in quarters.

Units: Engine 73, Engine 74, Truck 7, Chief 7A
