At 1400 hours Company's 9, 7, and 3 along with EMS Company 79 were alerted for the Commercial Gas Leak in Company's 9 first due at 23428 Camellia Court. Engine 73 arrived first at 1408 hours and laid out and advised Engine 92 to pick it up. After establishing a water supply Engine 73 advanced a hose line and found a small gas line next to a residence. Squad 7 arrived a short time later and assisted with Engine 92 in evacuating the homes that were affected by this gas leak. After operating on the scene for nearly 2 hours Washington Gas arrived and all Company 7 units cleared the scene and were back in quarters at 1600 hours.
