At approximately 2020 hours Thursday , 5 October 2023, Station 7 was dispatched to the 43000 block of St. John's Road for the reported Motor Vehicle Accident with a single vehicle into a tree and on fire. Rescue Squad 7, Engine 73, Chief 7B (R. Brady) and Chief 7 (Rogers) responded with 12 Volunteers shortly after dispatch. Units arrived on the scene to find a single occupant out of the vehicle and the vehicle on fire. Crews deployed an attack line to the fire and also assisted with patient care. The patient was evaluated and deemed to be a Trauma, requiring transport by Aviation to a Trauma Center. The fire was extinguished and the patient transported to the hospital. Chief 7B (R. Brady) held the Incident Command and units picked up, returning to quarters at 2100 hours.
