Hollywood VFD Responds To Woods Fire In First-Due

On Wednesday 13 March 2024 at approximately 2000 hours, units from Hollywood and surrounding departments were alerted for a “large brush fire” in Hollywood.
Engine 72, Tanker 74, Jeep 7, Chief 7A (Rector) and Chief 7 (Rogers) responded on the run with 14 personnel.

Hollywood VFD Responds To MVA With Entrapment In Leonardtown
Past Chief Charles Miedzinski (CP), March 09
At approximately 1131 hours 9 March 2024, Squad 7 along with units from Leonardtown were dispatched to the vehicle accident with reports of the occupant trapped in the area of Route 5 and Route 4.
Squad 7 marked responding with 8 personnel upon dispatch with Chief 7 and Chief 7A responding in addition.

Crews From Hollywood VFD Traveled To Loudoun County To Honor Firefighter Trevor Brown LODD

On Monday 4 March 2024,Crews traveled to Leesburg to help honor Firefighter Trevor Brown who was killed in the line of duty while operating on the scene of a gas leak. We continue to hold the Brown family and all the fire and rescue family in our thoughts and prayers.
