"A Message From The Prevention Committee"  

 
The Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department is committed to providing fire safety education and prevention to the citizens of our community.  The Fire Prevention Committee offers a wide range of fire prevention services to teach the community about the importance of fire safety.  Residents of all ages can benefit from learning good fire safety practices both in the home and at work!  The firefighters from the Fire Prevention Committee are able to provide age appropriate instruction on topics such as: how to dial 911, stop drop and roll, how to check your smoke detectors.  We annually visit the schools and many day cares in our first due response area for National Fire Prevention Week.
