| What are your hobbies and/or interests outside of the department? |
I play softball and like to play poker in my spare time. |

| Why did you join the department? |
All of my family is involved and I have been around it since I was a kid. |

| What is your most memorable incident? |
One of my most memorable incidents was the first call I ever went on. I was outside at my house and heard a loud bang. It was obvious to me it was a car accident. I remember running in side yelling at my dad telling him to come on and that we have a call. And of course my dad was all calm and taking his time and I kept yelling at him. He just kept laughing and telling me they haven't even dispatched it yet. They dispatch the call when we were about to pull in the fire house so I made the rig. I remember all that excitement and all I did was direct traffic when I got there. |

| Career Plans |
I am currently a D.C. firefighter. I would like to first become a technician and eventually move up through the ranks and become a Lieutenant. |

I have been a Lieutenant and Captain. |

| What Awards have you received through the department? |
I have received the Most Promising Firefighter award and the Presidents award. |
