Woodworking and playing with the grandkids. |

| Why did you join the department? |
I first joined the fire department in 1974 and after several years, due to family and work I had to take a leave of absence. I then joined the Hollywood Volunteer Rescue Squad for several years before returning back to the HVFD in 1996. I currently have 20 plus years of combined volunteer service to the Hollywood community. |

| What is your most memorable incident? |
Having five successful life saves using CPR or the AED and helping to deliver one baby while on the rescue squad. |

| What Awards have you received through the department? |
Several Chief and Presidents awards as well as the Most Promising Fire Firefighter of the Year award in 2000. |
