Engine and Truck Assist at Apartment Fire in the Park

At 1128 hours Engine 7(4th Due Engine) and Truck 7(2nd Due Truck) were dispatched to 21895 Pegg Road for the Apartment Fire. Engine 73, Truck 7, and Chief 7B responded at dispatch with 9 Volunteers on the call.

First arriving unit found smoke in the building and tracked it down to an apartment on the 1st floor. Engine 32 found a fire being held in check by the sprinkler system and extinguished the remaining fire with a hand line. Engine 73 arrived and took their assigned position, expanding on the Water Supply of Engine 91 who was connected to the Sprinkler/Standpipe System. The crew of Engine 73 advance a line off the riser to the Apartment. Truck 7 arrived and assumed 1st Due Truck responsibilities and took position on Side "A" of the structure. The assignment was quickly scaled back to the Units from Station 3, 13 and Truck 7. The Truck crew assisted with ventilation and overhaul before returning to service.

The Units from Station 7 returned to quarters at 1234 hours. Two occupants of the building were treated on the scene for minor injuries.
