Rescue Squad 7, Along with Both Wagons Take In Cut Job Near Firehouse

At 1821 hrs the station was alerted to a reported MVA with one trapped and one vehicle on fire at the intersection of Three Notch Road and Sotterley Road. The Squad arrived within seconds of dispatch to find three vehicle involved with one on its side. Crews quickly pulled a handline to ensure all fire was out and quickly went to work on one patient who was heavily pinned in one of the three vehicles involved. Engine 73 arrived shortly after the Squad and assisted the Squad crew with the rapid extrication of the patient. Chief 7B held the command while units operated on the scene. Engine 72 handled the landing zone where two patients were flown out, which was set up at the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department. Units remained on scene to assist the Sheriff's Office with lighting and clearing debris from the roadway. All units were in quarters at 1924 hrs.
