One Trapped on Three Notch Road in Hollywood

At 1548 hours Rescue Squad 7, Rescue Squad 1, EMS Station 79, EMS Station 19, and St. Mary's ALS were dispatched to Three Notch Rd at Ricky Drive for a Motor Vehicle Accident with a report of one overturned and trapped. Rescue Squad 7, Engine 73, Chief 7 and Chief 7B responded with 10 Volunteers.

Chief 7 and Rescue Squad 7 arrived to find a single vehicle on it's side with one occupant in the vehicle. Both crews from Rescue Squad 7 and Engine 73 worked to stabilize the vehicle and then extricate the trapped occupant from the vehicle. The extrication was completed in less than 10 minutes and the patient was turned over to EMS. The patient was evaluated and deemed a Category "A" Priority 2 Trauma and MSP Aviation was requested for transport. Engine 73 handled the landing zone for Trooper 2 on the scene of the Incident.

MSP Trooper 2 transported the single occupant to PG Trauma center and the remaining units returned to service. All units from Station 7 returned to quarters at 1631 hours. Chief 7 held the "Ricky Dr" Command.
