Tanker, Rescue Squad, and Chief Run Garage Fire in Medleys Neck

At 2351 hours Engine 1, 6, 3, Tanker 6, 3, 7. Truck 1, Rescue Squad 7, EMS Station 19 and 6 were dispatched to 20680 Bloomsbury Lane in Medleys Neck for the Garage Fire. Tanker 74, Rescue Squad 7, and Chief 7 responded with 10 Volunteers on the incident.

Units from Leonardtown arrived on location advising a two car detached garage well involved with an exposure problem to a one story house. The crews went to work, extinguishing the fire and protecting the exposure. Tanker 74 arrived on location and assisted with fire attack with Rescue Squad 7 handling the RIT function. Once the bulk of the fire was extinguished members of Hollywood assisted with overhaul before returning to service.

The units from Hollywood returned to quarters at 0138 hours and the fire is being investigated by the Maryland State Fire Marshal Office. Leonardtown Chief 1 held the Command of this incident.
