At 1339 hours Station 2, Station 5, Station 1, Station 7, and EMS Station 29 were alerted to respond Mutual Aid to Charles County at 10195 Fair Haven Road in Newburg Station 14's First Due for the House Fire. Engine 74, Rescue Squad 7, and Chief 7 responded with 10 Volunteers on the incident.

Units from Charles County arrived on location with a large two story single family home and fire showing. The units from Hollywood arrived on location and the crews went to work with Fire Attack until being pulled out due to deteriorating conditions and Water Supply issues. The Companies re-grouped and made another interior attack with Chief 7 assigned at the "Bravo Attack Supervisor". The Companies worked for several minutes on the interior knocking down fire and making a push on the structure. After a second attempt on the Fire, Command determined that the Structure was unsafe for interior Firefighting and transitioned to a Defensive attack from the exterior. The bulk of the fire was knocked down using Truck 3's Ladder pipe and numerous hand lines around the structure. Once the bulk of the fire was determined to be knocked and the Structure deemed Safe, crews made their way back into the Structure to perform overhaul and extinguish all visible fire.

The units from Hollywood remained on the scene for several hours assisting on the Fire Ground before returning to service. All Hollywood units were in quarters at 1837 hours. Numerous other St. Mary's Units handled Transfers to Charles County Stations and Engine 61 handled the transfer at Station 7 for a short time.

On a side note this incident had units from Charles County, St. Mary's County, Prince Georges County, and King George County Virginia operating on the scene.
