One Flown from Hollywood Collision

At 0940 hours Station 7 was alerted to transfer to Waldorf Station 3 while they operated on the scene of a Junk Yard Fire. Engine 73 made the response shortly after dispatch with 4 Volunteers. At 0946 hours Station 7, EMS Station 79, and EMS Station 19 were dispatched to Sotterley Road in the area of Pinto Drive for a Motor Vehicle Accident. Rescue Squad 7 and Chief 7 responded with a total of 5 Volunteers on the incident.

Chief 7 and Rescue Squad 7 arrived on location to find a single vehicle into a tree with one occupant who had self extricated prior to the Fire Departments arrival. Chief 7 established the Command and requested MSP Aviation for a Priority 2 Category "B" Patient. Command also requested Engine 73 return from the transfer and handle the Landing Site for Trooper 7 at the scene. The patient was packaged for transport and turned over to EMS.

Trooper 7 transported the patient to PG Trauma Center and all units cleared the scene and returned to quarters.
