At 2054 hours Station 9, Rescue Squad 7, EMS Station 38, and EMS Station 79 were dispatched to Wildewood Blvd. at White Oak Pkwy. for a Motor Vehicle Accident. Prior to the arrival of units, Communications advised Engine 91 to clear the Accident and copy a House Fire in their first due area. At 2059 hours Station 9, Station 7, Station 3, Station 13, EMS Station 38, and EMS Station 79 were dispatched to 44475 Redwood Ln. in Wildewood for the reported garage fire. Engine 73, Rescue Squad 7(who cleared the accident once EMS arrived), Truck 7, Chief 7, Chief 7A, and Chief 7B responded on the run with 17 Volunteers.

Engine 91 was first to arrive finding a 2 story single family home with an attached garage on fire. Shortly after Engine 73 and Rescue Squad 7 arrived on location and went to work. Chief 7 established the Command while Engine 73 ran an attack line to the structure. Rescue Squad 7's crew assisted with opening up and laddering the house. The crew from Engine 91 and Engine 73 made quick work of the fire and contained it to mostly outside the garage. Crews performed a primary search with negative results and secured power to the structure. The bulk of the fire was knocked down within minutes and the assignment was scaled back to Engine 91, Engine 73, Tower 9, and Rescue Squad 7.

Crews remained on the scene and assisted with overhaul and ventilation before clearing the scene. The units from Station 7 returned to quarters at 2220 hours. The State Fire Marshal is investigated the cause of the fire which believed to have started in the auto in front of the garage.
