Engine and Tanker Respond to Room Off in Lusby

At 0754 hours Station 9 and Station 7 were dispatched to 12330 Rousby Hall Road in Lusby for a reported House Fire. Engine 72 and Engine 74(as the Tanker) responded on the run with 8 Volunteers.

Chief 3 arrived on location with a 1 story modular home and smoke showing from the eve's. Units from Solomons and St. Leonard arrived on location and found a room off on the "Charlie" side of the house. Engine 72 arrived on the scene as the 3rd arriving Engine Company and were requested to assist fire attack with opening up. The crew of Engine 72 assisted the Companies on the interior opening up and providing overhaul. Engine 74 arrived as the first Tanker and was advised to stage.

The assignment was scaled back shortly after with the Engines from Solomons, St. Leonard, and Hollywood to perform overhaul. Engine 74 returned to service and both units returned to quarters at 0858 hours.
