At 1745 hours Station 2, Station 7, Charles Station 2, and EMS Station 29 were dispatched for the reported Shed Fire at 41740 New Market Turner Road in Mechanicsville. Engine 72, Truck 7, and Chief 7A responded on the call with 10 Volunteers.

Chief 2A was first to arrive finding a 12X20 shed well involved and established the Command. Engine 24 was next to arrive and made quick work of the fire deploying 2 lines. Truck 7 arrived and assisted with checking for extension and performing overhaul.

The fire was reported under control and the assignment was held with Company 2, Charles Tanker 2, and Truck 7. Engine 72 took the transfer to Station 2 during the incident. Truck 7 cleared the scene and returned to quarters at 1839 hours.
