Rescue Squad 7 on California Extrication

At 0228 hours Station 9, Rescue Squad 3, Rescue Squad 7, EMS Station 38, EMS Station 39, and St. Mary's ALS were dispatched to Three Notch Road and Buck Hewitt Road in California for a Motor Vehicle Accident with one trapped. Rescue Squad 7 and Chief 7A responded shortly after dispatch with 4 Volunteers on the call.

Units from Station 9 and 3 arrived on location advising one trapped and requested MSP aviation for a Category A Priority 2 Patient. Rescue Squad 7 arrived on the scene and assisted with extrication and providing lighting. The Patient was extricated after 15 minutes of working and turned over to waiting EMS.

The patient was transported by MSP Trooper 6 to Prince Georges Trauma Center. Rescue Squad 7 returned to quarters at 0300 hours.
