At 1205 hours Station 9, Station 1, Station 7, and Station 3 were dispatched to 21943 Park Drive in California for the House Fire. Engine 74 responded at dispatch with 5 Volunteers.

Engine 33, coming from Station 9's first due, arrived on the scene of a one story single family with smoke showing. Engine 74 arrived moments later and both crews worked inside the house finding the furnace on fire and extension to the walls. Crews made quick work of the fire and the assignment was scaled back to Engine 33, Engine 74, and Rescue Squad 3 to perform overhaul.

Engine 74 remained on the scene for 30 minutes before returning to quarters.
