First Due Accident with Fly Out

At 0015 hours Station 7, EMS Station 79, EMS Station 38, and St. Mary's ALS were dispatched to Jones Wharf Road and Sunny Ridge Lane for a Motor Vehicle Accident. Rescue Squad 7, Engine 73, Chief 7, and Chief 7A responded with 10 Volunteers on the Incident.

Chief 7 was first to arrive finding a single vehicle vs. a tree and everyone out of the vehicle. Rescue Squad 7 was next to arrive and started patient care and found one patient that was a Trauma. Chief 7 established the "Hollywood Command" and requested Aviation to transport the patient to the Trauma Center. Engine 73 established a Landing Zone for Trooper 7 at the Firehouse and stood by for the transport unit to arrive. Ambulance 799 arrived on location and took over patient care and transported the patient to the Landing Zone.

Trooper 7 transported the patient to MedStar at Washington Hospital Center as a Priority 2 Category "A" Patient. Ambulance 388 obtained two signed refusals and the Command was terminated.

Squad 7 remained on the scene and assisted the Sheriff's Department with lighting before returning to service. All units from Station 7 returned to quarters at 0104 hours.
