Pumper Tanker and Truck Run Small Fire in Leonardtown |

At 1250 hours Station 1, Station 7, Station 5, Station 9, and Station 2 were dispatched to 40784 Lake and Breton Drive for the report of smoke in the basement. Engine 74, Truck 7 and Chief 7A responded shortly after dispatched with 8 Volunteers on the incident. Chief 1 was the first to arrive finding a 1 story single family residence with smoke inside the structure. Engine 10 arrived on location and the crew found a small fire in the basement and extinguished the same. Engine 74 arrived on the scene and staged at the hydrant to prepare to lay a supply line into the scene. The units on the scene checked for extension finding none and Command scaled the assignment back to units from Station 1 and 7. Truck 7 took position on Side "A" of the structure and assisted with ventilating the house. Units from Station 7 remained on the scene for several minutes before returning to service and quarters at 1352 hours. |
