Rescue Squad 7 to California Trap Job

At 2106 hours Station 9, Rescue Squad 7, EMS Station 38, and EMS Station 39 were dispatched to the intersection of Three Notch Road and Miramar Drive for a Motor Vehicle Accident. Rescue Squad 7 responded with 5 Volunteers on the incident.

Engine 91 arrived on the scene finding a two vehicle T-Bone style collision with patients still in the vehicle. The crew of Engine 91 evaluated the scene finding one patient trapped in the vehicle. Rescue Squad 7 arrived on the scene and the crew went to work utilizing the HURST Rescue Tools to removed the passenger side doors and "B" post to remove the trapped occupant. The extrication was complete after 10 minutes of work on the vehicle.

Two patients were transported by Lexington Park EMS to St. Mary's Hospital as priority 3 patients. Rescue Squad 7 cleared the scene and returned to quarters at 2146 hours.
