Hollywood Volunteers Run Garage Fire in Leonardtown

At 1623 hours Station 1, Station 7, Station 5, and EMS Station 19 were dispatched to 40140 Wathen Road for the reported Shed Fire. Engine 73 and Engine 74 responded with 9 Volunteers on the run.

Chief 1 was first to arrive finding a 30x40 Garage with an auto on fire inside the Garage. Engine 11 arrived on the scene and deployed an attack line to the structure knocking the bulk of the fire. Engine 74 arrived on the scene and assisted with opening up and checking for extension. Command reported the fire was under control and they would be holding the units from Station 1 and Engine 74 only.

Engine 74 operated on the scene for 15 minutes before being released by Command. During the Incident Engine 73 was placed in service from the call and transferred to Station 1. The units from Station 7 returned to quarters at 1715 hours.
