| On Wednesday Sept. 1 at 15:52 Capt. 79 advised fireboard that there was an mva in front of station 79 involving an STS bus and would advise on injuries, and to start the rescue box. Rescue box 709 was sounded alerting stations 7,79 and 19. Amb. 796 marked up after dispatch and went on the scene with two vehicles involved, with one on fire. The squad arrived moments later and began extinguishing the fire and securing the vehicle while 796 obtained signed refusals. On Thursday Sept. 2 at 20:44 Station was alerted for a mva with one overturned on North Sandgates Rd. Chief 7A arrived on the scene and advised the vehicle was on its side, leaking fuel, and the driver had fled the scene. When the squad arrived the crew went to work stabilizing and securing the vehicle until the towing company could arrive. The ambulance transported the subject to SMH after MSP located him. |
