Squad 7 Runs Leonardtown Extrication

At 1611 hrs Squad 7 was dispatched to 23507 Maypole Road for a reported motor vehicle collision with people trapped and vehicle on fire. Squad 7 responded with 7 volunteers on the run. Chief 1B was first to arrive finding a single vehicle with 2 trapped occupants and holding all units. Units from Station 1 arrived and started extrication to free the trapped driver and passenger. Squad 7 arrived and provided manpower during the extrication. One patient was extricated and truned over to EMS while the other was pronounced Priority 4 on the scene by EMS. The priorty 1 patient was transported by Trooper 7 to the Trauma Center. Units returned to service at 1721 hrs.
