| At 1928 hours Station 9 and Station 7 were dispatched Mutual Aid to Calvert County at 11637 Deadwood Dr for the House Fire. Engine 72 and Engine 74 responded with 8 volunteers as the 5th due Engine and 3rd due Tanker. Units from Solomons arrived on the scene finding a 1 story single family with fire showing through out the structure and requested the second alarm to be filled out. At that time Station 3, Station 1 and Truck 7 were alerted to assist on the House Fire. Truck 7 made the response with an additional 5 volunteers. Engine 72 arrived on the scene, picking up Prince Frederick Engine 21's Line and assuming the 4th due responsibilities as the RIT. Engine 74 arrived right behind the Engine and the crew went to work assisting with extinguishment and opening up. The crew of Engine 72 was re-assigned to assist with opening up the structure. The units from the second alarm arrived on the scene and created a man power pull on side A of the structure. Once the fire was deemed under control, Command held the first alarm units from Solomons, St. Leonard, Prince Frederick, and Hollywood to perform overhaul. Engine 72 returned to quarters at 2153 hours. The fire is being investigated by the Maryland State Fire Marshals Office.
