Truck 7 First Due to Great Mills Rd

At 2021 hours Station 3, Station 13, Station 9, Tower 9, Truck 7, and EMS Station 39 were dispatched to 21591 Great Mills Rd at the Long John Silver for smoke in the building. Truck 7 responded with 4 volunteers shortly after dispatch along with units from Station 3, 13, and 9. Company 3 arrived on the scene with a 1 story commercial building and nothing showing. Crews found smoke in the building and believe the source to be an HVAC unit. Truck 7 arrived and took the first due truck position (Tower 9 placed out of service while responding) and laddered the building from Side "B". The crews confirmed a malfunctioning HVAC unit and Command placed the box in service. Truck 7 cleared the call and returned to quarters at 2109 hours.
