On Sept 4, 2007 Hollywood Volunteers were clearing a MVA with injuries at Three Notch Road and St. Johns Road when fireboard advised them to start towards Three Notch and Airport View Dr. for another MVA. Chief 7, Squad 7, and Engine 72 all responded on the call and arrived on location within seconds. Chief 7 established the command with one vehicle still in the roadway. As firefighters were securing the vehicles and assisting in patient care it was found that one vehicle off the roadway was leaking gasoline onto the ground. The crew from Squad 7 secured the leak as Chief 18, along with Hazmat 18 were alerted to the call. The crew from Engine 72 advanced a 200 foot 1 3/4 attack line towards the vehicle for precaution. Once the leak was contained units remained on the scene for a short time later before returning to service. Engine 74 also responded on this call.
