At 08:14 units were dispatched to 43900 Commerce Ave, Hollywood Used Auto Parts, in Hollywood for the report of a building fire.

Chief 7B arrived on the scene to find a 1 story commercial building, utilized as a body shop with smoke showing from sides alpha and delta.
Chief 7 arrived on the scene and established command and designaged Chief 7B as the attack group supervisor.

Engine 73 and Truck 7 arrived on scene a short time later, and Engine 73 deployed a 250’ 1.5” attack line and went to work extinguishing the fire that was located inside of the paint booth, along with the fire that extended into void spaces above and around the paint booth. Truck 7 assisted Engine 73 with searches, overhaul and ventilation.

Units operated for an hour and a half before the incident was scaled back to the units from company 7.
