At approximately 1131 hours 9 March 2024, Squad 7 along with units from Leonardtown were dispatched to the vehicle accident with reports of the occupant trapped in the area of Route 5 and Route 4.

Squad 7 marked responding with 8 personnel upon dispatch with Chief 7 and Chief 7A responding in addition.

Squad 7 arrived as the second rescue squad working with Squad 1 from Leonardtown Volunteer Fire Department.

Squad 7 went to work assisting with vehicle stabilization, tie back, and patient extrication.

One trapped patient was removed from the vehicle by crews and transferred to awaiting EMS personnel.

Chief 1B (McColskey) held the Leonardtown command.
