Hollywood VFD Responds To MVA In First Due With One Vehicle On It’s Side

At approximately 1515 hours Thursday, 10 August 2023, Station 7 was dispatched to the intersection of Three Notch Road and Hollywood Road for a Motor Vehicle Accident with people trapped. Rescue Squad 7, Engine 73, Chief 7 (Rogers) and Chief 7A (Rector) responded shortly after dispatch with 10 Volunteers. Chief 7A (Rector) arrived on the scene, confirming a vehicle on its side with one person trapped. Rescue Squad 7 arrived on the scene and started stabilizing the vehicle. It was determined the occupant of the vehicle was uninjured and just needed assistance getting out. Crews removed the front windshield and assisted the occupant out of the vehicle. The Units from Hollywood picked up and returned to service and quarters at 1535 hours. Chief 7A (Rector) held the Hollywood Command.

This was the 3rd Accident within the last 3 hours in the 1st Due and the 2nd overturned vehicle involved.
