Hollywood VFD Responds To Trailer Fire In Lexington Park

At approximately 1130 hours Saturday, 4 June 2023, Engine 7 and Truck 7 were dispatched to the 21400 block of Dana Court for a trailer fire. Engine 73, Truck 7, and Chief 7A (Rector) responded shortly after dispatch with 10 Volunteers. First arriving units from Bay District Volunteer Fire Department found a single wide trailer with fire showing. Engine 73 arrived on location and prepared to expand on the secondary water supply with the crew reporting to the structure. The crew of Engine 73 worked a handline and assisted with fire attack. Truck 7 arrived on the scene and positioned on side C of the structure. The crew assisted with opening up, providing a secondary search, and assisted with overhaul. The fire was placed under control within 30 minutes and crews performed overhaul. The assignment was scaled backed and the Units from Station 7 returned to service. Engine 73 and Truck 7 returned to quarters at 1309 hours. Chief 9B (Adams) held the Command.

During this incident, Engine 72 with an additional 4 Volunteers, responded to an inside gas leak to Station 3 first due.
