At approximately 1700 hours Monday, 20 March 2023, Station 7 was dispatched to assist Leonardtown on a Brush Fire in the 41900 block of Abell Creek Lane. Brush 7, Jeep 7, Tanker 74, and Chief 7 (Rogers) responded with 9 Volunteers on the run. Units from Leonardtown were on the scene of a large field and Brush fire. The Units from Station 7 arrived on the scene and assisted Units operating with extinguishing the fire. Multiple Units from Stations 1, 3, 6, 7, and 9 operated for over an hour hitting hot spots and performing overhaul. The fire was brought under control and Command scaled the assignment back to Stations 1, 7, and Tanker 6 to finish up overhaul. The Units from Station 7 returned to quarters at 1840 hours. Chief 1 (C. Bell) held the Command.
