At approximately 1415 hours, Thursday, 29 September 2022, Tanker 7 and Rescue Squad 7 were dispatched to the 10900 block of Cedar Drive in Lusby for a shed fire. Tanker 74 and Rescue Squad 7 responded with 8 Volunteers shortly after dispatch. First arriving units from Solomons found a 10x20 shed well involved with extension to a food trailer and other outside structures. Tanker 74 arrived on the scene with the personnel assisting with overhaul while the Tanker provided water supply. Rescue Squad 7 arrived on the scene but was placed in service shortly after. Tanker 74 remained on the scene operating for approximately 20 minutes before returning to service. All units from Station 7 were back in quarters within an hour.

We would like to wish a speedy recovery to the Member of Bay District Volunteer Fire Department who was injured on this incident.
