At approximately 1240 hours, Station 7 was dispatched to the 22500 block of Bayside Road to assist Company 1 (Leonardtown VFD) on a large field fire. Brush 7, Jeep 7, Tanker 74, and Chief 7A (Rector) responded shortly after dispatch with 9 Volunteers. First arriving Units from Station 1 found a large, well advanced field fire. The Units from Hollywood arrived and assisted with fire suppression and overhaul. The fire was placed under control within 20 minutes and the assignment was scaled back to Units on the scene. The Units from Station 7 returned to service and quarters at 1410 hours.
