Hollywood VFD Responds With Engine To Lexington Park

At approximately 1310 hours Monday, 16 May 2022, Engine 7 was dispatched to the 46100 block of Pleasant Drive in Lexington Park for the trailer fire. Engine 73 responded at dispatch with 4 Volunteers as the 4th due Engine. Chief 3 (Gould) was first to arrive, finding a single wide trailer with fire showing and exposures on both sides. Engine 73 arrived on the scene and picked up Engine 32 supply line at the hydrant. The crew of Engine 73 deployed an attack line to the trailer and worked to extinguish the fire. The bulk of the fire was knocked down in less than 15 minutes of arrival with 2 lines. The fire was placed under control in approximately 30 minutes and the assignment was scaled back to the Units from Stations 3, 7, and 9. Engine 73 assisted with overhaul before picking up and returning to service. Chief 3 (Gould) held the Command and Engine 73 returned to quarters at 1445 hours.

*During this incident, Engine 74 handled a fire alarm in the first due with a second crew in quarters.*
