On Tuesday, 17 August 2021, Hollywood VFD Engine 73 transferred to New Market District Volunteer Fire Company Station 15 to cover their station responses while their members attended the funeral of Battalion Chief Josh Laird. BC Laird passed away last week while battling a house fire in Frederick County. We wish to send our condolences to the Laird family, Frederick County Fire and Rescue, and all that this tragic event has touched. Along with Hollywood VFD, Dunkirk Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. Truck 5, and Falmouth Volunteer Fire Department Rescue 1 are also providing coverage.
