Hollywood VFD Responds To House Fire In Leonardtown

At approximately 1830 hours, Wednesday, 14 July 2021, Engine 7 and Truck 7 were dispatched to the 23500 block of Gallent Fox Way in Leonardtown for the House Fire. Engine 73, Truck 7, Chief 7(Brady) Chief 7A, (Rogers) and Chief 7B (Rector) responded at dispatch with 12 Volunteers. First arriving units from Station 1 found a two story single family home with smoke showing. Engine 73 arrived on the scene, with their own hydrant, and stretched a line to the rear. Truck 7 arrived and position on the C/D corner of the structure. The crew of Engine 73 stretched to the basement where they found a room off and extinguished the same. Truck 7 crew threw ladders, opened up for the Engine, and provided lights and fans to the structure. The fire was contained to the room and the assignment was scaled back, holding the Units from 1 and 7 only. The Units from Station 7 assisted with overhaul before returning to service at 2000 hours. Chief 1 (Bell) held the Command with Chief 7 (Brady) and Chief 7A(Rogers) handling Division Supervisors.
