As St. Mary's County reached the end of the school year, HVFD was requested to conduct a spray-down of the 5th grade class at Hollywood Elementary School. HVFD sent a crew on June 15 and 16, to HES to oblige the request. It was great to see the smiling faces of the students and staff as they "let off some steam." HVFD took the time to allow Dr. Gilman (HES Principal) to climb onto Tanker 74 and "hose down" her departing students. HFVD would like to congratulate all SMCPS students who are celebrating milestones this year.
