Hollywood VFD Responds to MVA Involving A Large Commercial Vehicle

At approximately 2048 hours Saturday, 5 June 2021, units from Station 2 that were filling in as a result of their annual banquet and units from Station 5 responded to area of 38233 Chaptico Road for a MVA involving a Commercial Vehicle. Squad 2 responded with 4 personnel from Huntington VFD, Engine 73 responded from Mechanicsville VFD with 5 personnel and Squad 5 responded with 4 personnel. A-299 and C-100 (Miedzinski) arrived on location to find a Tractor Trailer off the roadway on its side. The driver had self-extricated himself and was evaluated / released with no injuries. The Crew from E-73, Squad 2 and C-100 (Miedzinski) assessed the Tractor Trailer for hazards, finding none and turned the scene over to SMCSO. Units returned to service at 2105 hours and Safety 2 (Truesdell) held the Chaptico Command.
