Today, Tuesday, 2 June 2021, The Officers and Members of the Hollywood VFD and Hollywood VFD Ladies Auxiliary laid to rest Charter Fire Chief William J. “Billy” Huseman, Sr. Chief Huseman was one of the few Charter Members in November 1956 who established the Hollywood VFD and was elected as the first Fire Chief, serving the Community for 65 years. Chief Huseman also served in the capacity as the department’s Treasurer for several years and also served on many other committees during his dedicated service to our department. Chief Huseman was a true mentor to all the men and women with our department and today was with out a doubt, a true testimony of what he meant to our department. The Officers and Members send our dearest sympathy to the family during this difficult time of their loss. Rest Easy Chief Huseman and We Got It From Here!!
