The Hollywood VFD is one of many local volunteer fire departments within our State that continue to serve the community through family generations. Our department is blessed to have numerous family generations that serve the local community. Currently our Fire Chief is one of two sons who have served as the Fire Chief and whose father was also the Fire Chief at Hollywood VFD. Just recently Truck 7 responded to an incident and there were two pairs of father / son’s staffing the unit on the incident. This is just one of many examples within our department where the family tradition keeps passing on to allow us to serve our community the highest quality of Volunteer fire services.
