Hollywood VFD Responds To Serious Motor Vehicle Accident In California, MD

At approximately 2030 hours Tuesday 16 March 2021, Rescue Squad 7 was alerted for a Motor Vehicle Accident with reports of people trapped at the intersection of Three Notch Road and By the Mill Road. Rescue Squad 7, Chief 7 (Brady) and Chief 7A (Rogers) responded with 11 Volunteers. Chief 7A (Rogers) was first to arrive to find a three vehicle collision with one trapped in two separate vehicles and one vehicle overturned. Rescue Squad 7 and Chief 7 (Brady) arrived on the scene and went to work stabilizing both vehicles. Rescue Squad 7 split crews to complete the extrication on both vehicles, using the HURST Jaws of Life within 15 minutes of arrival. Two patients were transported by EMS to PG Trauma center as Priority 2 Traumas. Rescue Squad 7 picked up and returned to service at 2111 hours. Chief 7A (Rogers) held the California Command with Chief 7 (Brady) handling the Rescue Group Supervisor.
