At approximately 1805 hours Wednesday, 24 February 2021, Station 7 was dispatched to the 25200 block of Three Notch Road for an auto fire. Engine 72 responded shortly after dispatch with 4 Volunteers. Engine 72 arrived on the scene at the old Wood Treatment Plant to find a work truck well involved along the power lines right of way. The crew stretched the front bumper line and started extinguishing the fire. Tanker 74 was added to the incident and arrived and supplied Engine 72. The fuel tank, that was full, had ruptured due to the fire so the crew utilized foam to extinguish the fire. The fire was extinguished and units picked up and returned to service a short time later.
