Hollywood VFD Responds To First Due Garage Fire

At approximately 0445 hours Tuesday, 16 February 2021, Station 7 was alerted to the 26400 block of Three Notch Road for the reported Garage Fire. Engine 72, Truck 7, Tanker 74, and Chief 7A responded with 14 Volunteers shortly after dispatch. Engine 72 was first to arrive finding a tractor on fire with extension to a 20x20 garage. The crew of Engine 72 stretched an attack line and began knocking down all visible fire from the tractor and garage. Truck 7 arrived and assisted with opening up for the Engine Company. Tanker 74 assisted with supplying the fire ground. The fire was knocked and the assignment was scaled back to units from Station 7, 2, and 1. Crews remained on the scene performing overhaul before returning to service in just over an hour. Chief 7A (Rogers) held the Hollywood Command. No injuries were reported.

This is the 3rd fire in less than 24 hours for the Hollywood Volunteers. Please remember to check your smoke detectors and make sure you have a way out.
