Hollywood VFD Responds To Working Structure Fire

At approximately 1440 hours, on Monday, 15 February 2021, Station 7 was dispatched to the 43200 block of St. John's Road for the Trailer Fire. Engine 72, Tanker 74, Truck 7, and Rescue Squad 7 responded with 20 Volunteers. Engine 72 arrived on location, laid a 1,000 ft supply line, and found a single wide trailer attached to a 2 story single family home with fire throughout the trailer, extending to the house. The crew of Engine 72 stretched and attack line to the structure and began fire attack. Truck 7 arrived, threw ladders and assisted Engine 72 with opening up. Tanker 74 arrived and picked up the supply line from Engine 72. The Rescue Squad arrived on location and performed a search that was negative. Crews operated, extinguishing all the fire in the trailer and the fire that had extended to the house. The fire was placed under control after approximately 40 minutes. The units remained on the scene for over 2 hours performing overhaul and hitting hot spots. Safety 7 (Doug Insley) held the Command and the State FM's are investigating the fire. No injuries were reported.
